Would you like to create your own web site?  Or, would you like to be able to make updates to the web site that you already have?  If so, you’re going to need to understand concepts like GIF and JPG files, FTP transfers, DNS servers, FrontPage extensions, HTML, and more.

Sound complicated?  Well, it’s not.  Not if you have someone to teach you the basics. 

With only a couple of hours of training, you can learn about graphics files, composer programs like Microsoft FrontPage, HTML basics, web site hosting, and more.  Admittedly – you’re not going to be a true “Webmaster” after only an hour or two, but you’ll be able to make basic changes to an existing site, or begin working on your own web site.  In addition, you will need to practice these skills on your own in order to retain the knowledge.  (Or to take your skills to the next level.)

So…why take advantage of this training?  So you don’t have to pay someone else to do it, of course!  Sometimes you only need to change a name or update a picture -- rather than pay an outside Webmaster or designer, you can make the changes yourself (or have one of your employees take this training).  The savings in the long run should easily offset the cost of the training.
