Who Are We?We are a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today! You are interested in the world around you, want a variety of activities for you and your children, and are proud of your choice of at-home mothering for your families. We know, because we're at-home mothers, too! We are a part of International MOMS Club®, the first, largest and fastest growing support group specifically for ALL stay-at-home mothers. Join with a group of Moms who share your belief that at-home mothering is the greatest gift you can give to your children.
Our club offers various activities for stay-at-home moms and their children. In a given month, your neighborhood MOMS Club might provide park days, playgroups, field trips, craft days, stroller walks in the park, MOMS (or Family) Night Out, a Club Newsletter and a business meeting. It is our policy to have children come along to all activities. (To find out more about our monthly activities, go to the Activities section.)
In addition to our activities, many MOMS Clubs offer a babysitting co-op and a support system for new mothers. MOMS Club is also committed to community service. We coordinate service projects each year to provide support to needy organizations and various women's and children's shelters. MOMS Club also offers opportunities for leadership in a variety of ways, allowing you to contribute to the group and satisfy your need to develop yourself and interact productively with other adults.
Our calendar fluctuates every month to provide flexibility to
everyone's schedule. We want all our moms to be able to attend
activities.
Attendance to activities is never mandatory. So, you can
feel free to come and go as you please.
If you're ready to learn more about our organization, please visit our Chapters page to determine which chapter you should contact. You'll be able to contact the Membership VP in your neighborhood. She'll give you more specific information on your local chapter, and invite you to attend one of their activities to learn more about the group.
We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support and
activities for the kids.
We believe you shouldn't need to hire a babysitter to participate in
activities, so moms bring their children with them. For some meetings,
we set up children's rooms with member volunteer babysitters. At our
activities, having children present is considered a natural part of
life.
We have an established support system for our local chapters. Our
volunteer Coordinators are experienced MOMS Club Moms who are ready to
help you every step of the way. You can call them for advice, ideas and
help!
We know being an at-home mother today means making a financial
sacrifice, so dues to our local chapters are only $20-25 per year.
At home mothers of any age children are welcome! You don't have to leave
the group when your children enter school. We know you still need
support as your children grow.
